Convenient, personalized therapy that comes right to your home

Creative Arts Therapy for Children, Teens & Adults

Art has a powerful way of helping us say what words cannot. Through Creative Arts Therapy, children, teens, and adults can safely explore emotions, build coping tools, and develop resilience, all while engaging in creative, hands-on activities.

To make therapy more engaging (and less stressful for parents), I offer remote art therapy sessions with mailed art therapy boxes. Before each session, you or your child will receive a curated and personalized box with everything needed for the week’s activity. During our video session, I guide the process step-by-step, ensuring each activity feels fun, structured, and meaningful.

This approach keeps children engaged with hands-on materials while bringing therapy directly into the home, removing the stress of travel. Parents appreciate seeing the tangible tools and progress their child is making, while teens and adults enjoy a creative outlet that feels both natural and accessible.

Art Fun

Children: Big Feelings, Worries, and Growing Skills

Parents often reach out when their child is struggling with challenges that feel too big to manage alone. Many children experience overwhelming emotions, frequent tantrums, or difficulty calming down. Others struggle with separation anxiety, worries about school, or constant “what if” thoughts. Behavioral challenges are also common, as some children have a hard time listening, following rules, or controlling frustration. Social concerns, such as trouble making friends or feeling left out, can add to the stress. And during times of family change, such as divorce, moving, or loss, children may need extra support to adjust. Creative arts therapy gives children a safe, playful way to express these experiences while building healthy coping skills.

Teens: Finding Their Voice Through Creativity

Adolescence often brings a mix of independence and emotional intensity. Teens may face anxiety, depression, or sudden mood swings. Many feel isolated, struggle with friendships, or experience bullying, while others wrestle with identity questions or ongoing conflict with parents. Academic stress can add another layer of pressure. Creative arts therapy offers teens a space where they can explore who they are, express themselves without judgment, and develop healthier ways to manage stress and relationships. Through art, they gain both a voice and a sense of agency in their own growth.

Adults: Reconnecting and Healing

Art therapy is not only for children and teens. Many adults find that creative expression helps them process trauma, grief, and stress in ways words alone cannot. Art-making provides opportunities to explore emotions, practice mindfulness, and reconnect with one’s authentic self. By working with art therapy boxes at home and guided sessions online, adults gain the structure and support of a therapeutic process while rediscovering creativity as a source of healing and resilience.

How It Works

Each art therapy session follows a simple and supportive flow. Before meeting, a personalized art therapy box is delivered to your home, containing all the materials you or your child will need. During the session, I guide the process virtually, creating a balance of structure, exploration, and reflection. Together, we use the artwork to connect feelings with coping strategies and real-life growth. This approach keeps children engaged with hands-on activities, reduces the stress of travel, offers parents the chance to see progress in tangible ways, and gives teens and adults a creative outlet that feels natural and accessible.
